Case Officer for Community Information and Digitalization (SID)

Job Responsibilities

As a case officer, you will become part of Sollentuna Municipality's labor market unit (AME), where we have gathered the municipal labor market measures. People in need of support to approach the labor market come to us at AME. The needs vary greatly, and we meet individuals from different backgrounds, experiences, and life situations. Together, we create individual plans for each person to achieve self-sufficiency as soon as possible. Our work is characterized by respect, attentiveness, and a personalized approach.

As a staff member in SID, you will be responsible for supporting participants towards work and/or studies. You will work with group activities focusing on motivation and skills for the labor market, invite guest speakers, and organize study visits. You will also organize and support participants' development of the Swedish language. As a case officer in SID, you will work closely with our supervisors in practical operations as well as with other relevant parts within and outside the municipality, such as Adult Education and the Employment Agency. The work also includes helping participants develop their digital skills as much support is provided through these channels.

In connection with the activity requirement, the operations will continue to develop as needed.

Qualifications

The role is broad and requires both theoretical and practical competence. We are looking for someone who has:

• experience working with people in need of support.
• a good understanding of the labor market's demands and conditions.
• experience leading and motivating groups and individuals.
• relevant post-secondary education.
• experience in documentation and reporting.
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, preferably with additional language skills.

We are constantly working to improve our methods and consider it an advantage if you have previously worked according to methods such as SE (Supported Employment), IPS (Individual Placement and Support), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and/or have knowledge from BIP. We also see it as an advantage if you have experience working in a politically governed organization.
